Heroes Battlegrounds Full Throttle Combos

Practice post-rework Full Throttle combos with short confirms, current documented moves, ground and air checks, endpoint control, and defense tests.

Full Throttle combos must be rebuilt around the current Jet Engine rework, not copied from pre-update footage. Current community references connect the reworked kit with Recipro Assault, Turbine Drive, and Sound Breaker, with situational ground or air behavior. Verify those labels in a fresh server and learn the endpoint of each movement before trying to link them.

The safest rework plan is short: confirm an M1, add one current move, keep a mobility option, and stop if the camera loses the target. No route below is presented as a permanent one-shot or true-combo guarantee.

Rework setup

Select Full Throttle and test every button on open ground. For each move, note the travel direction, whether jumping changes it, where you end relative to the target, and how long a miss leaves you exposed. Repeat against block before building a route.

On computer, Q is the universal dash, F blocks, jump plus left click downslams, and Q while ragdolled recovery dashes. Keep the ordinary dash distinct from Turbine Drive or another character movement action so you know which resource you spent.

Route one: M1 into close rework move

Land three controlled M1 hits and use Recipro Assault if that is the current close follow-up in your HUD. Stop when it ends and turn the camera toward the target’s landing point. The drill succeeds when you can confirm the starter and retain orientation.

If the move is blocked, abort. If you cross past the opponent, practice the camera turn without adding another attack. A fast follow-up pressed in the wrong direction is still a miss.

Route two: Turbine Drive branch

Test Turbine Drive alone on the ground, then in the air if the current move supports a variant. Add the ground version only after a confirmed M1 or close move. Note whether it carries the target, launches them, or simply repositions Full Throttle.

For the air branch, begin from a clean jump instead of a downslam route. Once you understand the landing, connect it to one starter. Avoid adding Sound Breaker until the camera and endpoint are stable.

Route three: Sound Breaker conversion

Use Sound Breaker only from a hit reaction or distance that you have tested. A speed-based move can look like it should reach while the target is already free to block or side dash. Have a partner alternate no input and early defense so you can label the sequence correctly.

If Sound Breaker is your strongest chase, preserve it when the earlier route already deals useful damage. Spending it automatically may leave no response to recovery dash or a third party.

Ground-versus-air decision

The air route should solve a specific problem: altered angle, travel, or endpoint. Do not jump merely because the variant exists. Jumping can telegraph the entry and change camera control. Practice the same starter with a ground ender and an air ender, then compare consistency under normal latency.

On mobile or controller, place the jump and character action where you can press them without dragging the camera away. Think in actions instead of keyboard notation. The current interface owns the actual control label.

Wall and camera testing

Full Throttle’s travel makes wall angles important. Start a route several character-widths from a flat wall, then move closer between attempts. Watch for side rotation, model crossing, or a move ending inside the target’s previous position. If the camera snaps, reduce the route and practice the turn.

Keep one open-ground default. A wall clip that lands only in one corner is a situational setup, not the core combo. Public fights also make long wall animations easy to interrupt.

Defensive checks

Ask a partner to block the starter on random attempts. Your goal is to stop immediately, not finish the list. Next, let them recovery dash at the first legal moment. Decide whether to use ordinary dash, preserve a character chase, or reset.

When your own route drops, block with F or move rather than mashing the remaining cooldowns. Full Throttle’s speed can hide bad turn-taking during solo practice, so partner defense is essential.

Troubleshooting the rework

If a move label differs, update the role from the live HUD. If a route works in old footage but fails now, compare endpoint and hit reaction first. If your server may predate the update, rejoin. If air timing varies, practice from a neutral jump and remove the previous extension.

The Full Throttle character guide explains the returner learning plan. Re-add complexity only after the one-move confirm succeeds against movement and block.

Current-source notes

The official Heroes Battlegrounds description explicitly confirms the Full Throttle rework and publishes universal computer controls. The reworked move names and route roles are current community observations. Exact damage, finisher thresholds, cooldowns, armor, and guaranteed links need direct current-build testing.
