Heroes Battlegrounds Controls

Learn the official Heroes Battlegrounds PC controls, what each combat action does, how to practice inputs, and how to translate them to mobile or console.

Heroes Battlegrounds publishes its computer controls directly in the live Roblox description. The core keys are G for ultimate, F for block, Q for dash, Q while ragdolled for recovery dash, left click for punch, jump plus left click for downslam, and B for emote. The same description says the experience is available on all devices.

Mobile and console layouts can change with Roblox and game-interface updates, so learn the action first and use the current on-screen prompt instead of assuming a permanent button label.

Character moves use the current move panel and device-specific bindings. Read those labels after selecting a fighter, especially after a rework.

Punch and confirm

Use left click deliberately. Practice three hits, pause, and observe the target. The goal is to recognize a hit reaction and a blocked attack. A combo becomes unsafe when you press every character move before confirming the M1 starter.

On touch or controller, find the basic attack action and perform the same rhythm. Avoid dragging the camera during the string. If the target leaves frame, reset before adding a move.

Block and punish

Hold F on computer while the opponent’s clear attack is active. Release after the sequence ends and use the shortest starter that reaches the recovery. Do not hold block forever or assume every attack is blockable; learn current character exceptions through controlled tests.

Practice with a friend using one repeated move. Alternate successful block, early release, and late punish. This teaches the visual timing more effectively than random public fights.

Dash and recovery dash

Ordinary Q dash changes position. Practice forward entry, side angle, and backward disengagement. Do not use it on a fixed rhythm. A saved dash can avoid a projectile, chase knockback, or escape a third party.

While ragdolled, Q performs the published recovery dash. Have a partner knock you down and test the earliest visible recovery. Choose a direction that exits the opponent’s follow-up rather than moving straight back into the route.

Downslam camera control

Jump and left click creates a downslam on computer. Keep the camera on the target during the jump. If you point too far down or move across elevation, the landing position can drift. Practice on flat ground before adding a wall conversion.

Mobile players should separate the jump and basic attack actions without swiping the camera away. Controller players should use the current jump and attack prompts. The action sequence matters more than the device label.

Ultimate control

Press G only when the meter is ready. On the first use of a character, create space and read the transformed move list. Ultimate moves can change range, movement, or camera behavior. Test them individually before attempting a long route.

In a match, activate after forcing a real engagement. Using ultimate from across the arena can give the target time to disengage. Preserve an option for their dash and watch for third parties.

Mobile and console checklist

Confirm that basic attack, block, dash, jump, ultimate, and every character move are visible and reachable. Adjust camera sensitivity conservatively. Close overlapping panels if a control is hidden. If an action disappears after switching modes or places, reopen settings or return to the root experience.

Do not copy keyboard letters onto a device that presents action icons. Describe the problem as “recovery dash” or “ultimate,” then locate that action in the current UI.

Troubleshooting inputs

If dash does not activate, check cooldown and whether another animation is active. If recovery dash fails, confirm you are in the ragdolled state and not pressing too early. If downslam misses, fix camera angle and elevation. If ultimate does nothing, check the meter. If a character move differs from a guide, trust the live panel and rejoin a fresh server after an update.

Current-source notes

The keybind list and all-device statement come from the official Heroes Battlegrounds Roblox description, checked August 31, 2026. This page does not invent fixed mobile or controller buttons because the current interface is the correct source for those mappings.
