Explosion Hero combo practice is about managing knockback and range. Current community references identify Explosion Combo, Ground Cannon, Powered Shot, and Blast Catapult as the base moves. A successful route uses the close action while the target is close, the ranged action after predictable separation, and the launcher only when you understand its endpoint. It does not throw all four moves in a fixed order.
Because Mastered Explosion Hero is part of the newest official update headline, begin in a fresh server and confirm the base HUD before practicing. These routes are drills, not permanent damage or escape guarantees.
Setup and action notation
M1 is the basic punch. On computer, Q dashes, F blocks, jump plus left click downslams, and Q while ragdolled recovery dashes. Console and mobile players should translate the action to the current button shown by their interface.
Use open ground and keep every move off cooldown. Center the camera on the target’s torso so explosive effects do not make you turn early. Let a partner alternate standing, blocking, and moving after the first set.
Route one: close confirm
Land three deliberate M1 hits and use Explosion Combo only after seeing the hit reaction. Stop at the end. This establishes whether the move is truly in range and where both characters finish. Repeat from slightly different distances until you recognize the reliable starter zone.
If Explosion Combo is blocked, do not buffer Ground Cannon. Return to defense and identify whether the starter missed, the delay was too long, or the move is not a true extension in the current build.
Route two: downslam to Ground Cannon
Use a short M1 string into the official downslam action, then test Ground Cannon during the resulting position. Watch whether the target remains centered or slides with terrain. Add no other move until the connection is consistent.
Near a wall, Ground Cannon may appear easier because knockback is contained. Retest away from the wall before calling it your default. If the target can recovery dash, decide whether to chase or save Blast Catapult for defense.
Route three: ranged conversion
After a confirmed move sends the target to a stable distance, test Powered Shot. The goal is not to fire it immediately; the goal is to identify which hit reaction creates a real line. If the target is already free to side dash, Powered Shot becomes a pressure check rather than a guaranteed extension.
Practice aiming after the knockback, not before it. Explosive effects can hide lateral movement. Keep the reticle on the model and fire only when the path is clear.
Blast Catapult branch
Test Blast Catapult alone to learn whether its current role is launcher, chase, reposition, or a mixture. Then add it after one confirmed close action. Stop and note where you land. If it moves Explosion Hero past the opponent, practice turning the camera before any follow-up.
Do not spend Blast Catapult early if it is your only reliable escape from a crowded fight. In public servers, a shorter Explosion Combo ender can be safer than a long launcher branch that exposes you to a third player.
Wall and elevation checks
Repeat each route on level ground, near a flat wall, and beside a small elevation change. Walls can redirect Ground Cannon knockback or make Powered Shot collide at an unexpected angle. Downslams can drift when the camera points too far down.
Keep wall conversions as optional branches. If the route needs a corner, label it that way in your own practice notes. A robust open-ground confirm should remain the first choice.
Defense-response testing
Have a partner hold block on random attempts. Abort as soon as the starter is defended. Then have them recovery dash at the earliest visible state. If they leave between Ground Cannon and Powered Shot, the ranged action is a read or chase, not a guaranteed link.
Finally, test against a side dash. Decide which move you can preserve to cover movement without making yourself unsafe. The best route tells you when to stop as clearly as when to continue.
Mastery separation
Do not mix mastered move footage into the base route. The official Explosion Murder God badge confirms a quest unlock, but transformed labels and properties need their own test sheet. Unlock or equip mastery, read the HUD, and practice one mastered move at a time.
Use the Explosion Hero Mastery guide for progression checks and the Explosion Hero character guide for the base role. A base combo remains valuable even when mastery adds a stronger branch.
Current-source notes
The official Roblox page supplies universal computer inputs and confirms the newest mastery headline. Base move names and common route ideas are current community observations that must be compared with the live HUD. Exact damage, cooldowns, stun, and “true” status are deliberately treated as patch tests.
